The Spiritual Leaders Awards International (SLAI) was founded by Kelly Wotherspoon (also known as Kelly Wotherspoon-Rawle), an Australian naturopath and international spiritual mentor based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Kelly is also the founder of the Spiritual Badass Academy and co-founder of AI with Soul. She created SLAI to recognize and celebrate spiritual leaders who are making a positive impact worldwide.

The Spiritual Leaders Awards International was born from a deep recognition that the healers, teachers, and spiritual leaders within our community deserve to be seen, celebrated, and honoured.

These are the people who pour their energy into elevating consciousness and promoting wellbeing - often without the spotlight they deserve. This event is that spotlight.

What started as a vision in 2025 has already become the premier awards event for the spiritual community, and 2026 is set to be even bigger.

Nominations are now open for 2026. You can nominate someone else or self-nominate across any of our 29 categories. Simply visit the nominations page, fill in the nominee's details, and tell us why they deserve recognition. Nominating is free - the nominee then receives an invitation to confirm their nomination and activate their voting page for a $99 confirmation fee.

Absolutely! Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged this year. If you are doing incredible spiritual work, don't wait for someone else to put you forward - you deserve to be recognised. Self-nominating is free, and you'll be guided through the confirmation process once your nomination is submitted.

Nominating someone (or yourself) is completely free. Once nominated, the nominee will receive a notification and an invitation to confirm their nomination. A $99 confirmation fee is charged when the nominee finalises their profile and activates their voting page. This fee covers the administration, marketing, and promotion of their nomination throughout the awards process.

With limited spots available we have a strict no refund policy. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your ticket to another name. Please advise of the name change and any dietary requirements at least 7 days before the event.

The Island is a boutique waterfront hotel in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It features The Glasshouse event space where our conference and awards gala will be held. Special member rates are available for SLAI attendees.
